Electric Kiwi's web platform needed to surface real-time energy data - green meter readings, three-day forecasts, carbon emissions - without overwhelming everyday users who just want to know the best time to run the dishwasher.
The engineering team needed reusable, framework-agnostic components that could be dropped into any part of the platform without coupling to a specific stack.
